Cincinnati Financial Corporation Announces Board Changes

CINCINNATI, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Cincinnati Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: CINF) announced that Jackson H. Randolph has retired from the board of directors effective November 17. James E. Benoski, vice chairman and chief insurance officer of The Cincinnati Insurance Company, The Cincinnati Indemnity Company and The Cincinnati Casualty Company, has been appointed to complete Randolph's three-year term ending in 2003.

Randolph has been a director since 1986. He has served as chairman of the audit committee and as a member of the investment and nominating committees. Randolph is chairman of CINergy Corp. and serves on the boards of PNC Financial Corp. and The Union Light, Heat & Power Company.

Benoski joined the headquarters staff in Cincinnati in 1973 after serving in the Company's field claims operations in Alabama. He was promoted to vice president in 1983 and to senior vice president and manager of the headquarters claims department in 1996.
