Cincinnati, February 8, 2000-Cincinnati Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: CINF)- Cincinnati Financial Corporation announced today that the board of directors met February 5 and appointed Chief Investment Officer, James G. Miller, to its Investment Committee.
Boards of subsidiary companies also met and elected new directors. The Cincinnati Life Insurance Company (CLIC) appointed James G. Miller as a director; he now serves on boards of five subsidiaries. Senior Vice President Kenneth W. Stecher was appointed as a director of the property and casualty subsidiaries and CFC Investment Company (CFC-I); he now serves on boards of all subsidiaries. Senior Vice President J.F. Scherer was appointed as a director of CFC-I; he now serves on boards of all subsidiaries. Chief Insurance Officer James E. Benoski was appointed as a director of CLIC and CFC-I; he now serves on boards of all insurance subsidiaries. Senior Vice President Urban G. Neville, who was appointed a director of CFC-I , also serves on boards of The Cincinnati Casualty Company and CinFin Capital Management.
The board of CFC-I appointed Kenneth S. Miller, CLU, ChFC, to president and chief operating officer of that lease/finance services subsidiary. Miller has been a corporate vice president since 1997. He is senior vice president for the insurance subsidiaries and executive vice president of CinFin Capital Management. He joined The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in 1979 and became an officer in 1985. President and CEO John J. Schiff, Jr., CPCU, commented, "Ken’s years of experience in finance and investments will be an asset as CFC-I increases the scope and value of services to agents, their commercial insurance clients and businesses in their communities."
